Diana Havenhand is an artist and photographer based in South East London.
She works primarily in oils, although drawing is an important part of her practice. Portraiture and landscape/cityscape are my main interests. She is currently interested in looking at how memory, possessions, photographs, every day events and personal history inform identity, particularly in the context of dementia and ageing. By capturing small moments in life she want the viewer to find recognition and familiarity in the every day, while reflecting on the unreliability of memory.
She is currently studying Contemporary Portraiture at Art Academy London. Her work was exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2024 and at the ING Discerning Eye Exhibition at the Mall Galleries in November 2024.
